It’s been a busy year at St Mary’s, with a wide range of fundraising events – a Quiz, a Clothes Swap, a Treasure Hunt, a Concert and not forgetting our monthly Coffee Mornings!

Thanks to everyone’s generosity and the contributions from sponsoring a ‘quarry’ and direct donations, the PCC Treasurer is able to confirm that we are nearly half way to our target of £60,000.  The total raised so far is an amazing £19,960. £9,960 will be match funded by the Gardemau Church Charity making the grand total up to nearly £30,000.

There are more events organised for the autumn – Coffee Mornings on 14^th September, 12^th October, 9^th November and 14^th December, as well as a concert by the Raedwald Ensemble on 26^th October and the Co Op Band Christmas Concert on 8^th December.

We are also in the process of applying for grant funding from various organisations but this process is lengthy due to bureaucratic delays!
