St Mary’s Church Reopening
Following recent changes to government guidelines the Churchwardens are delighted that St Mary’s will be able to open for private prayer every Thursday commencing on Thursday 25th June. The Lady Chapel will be available for individuals or family groups for prayer. The church will be open from 8.00am until 8.00pm.
The church has been cleaned in preparation and a risk assessment carried out. Some areas will be taped off. Unfortunately, it will not be possible to access these areas and the toilet will not be open for use.
We ask that those entering the church use the hand sanitiser provided at the door and adhere to social distancing rules. This might mean waiting until others have left the church before going to the Lady Chapel.
We hope that parishioners will welcome the opportunity to spend some personal prayer time in God’s house and we look forward to the time that services can recommence.
