On behalf of the Parochial Church Council, thank you all for your amazing work in decorating the Christmas trees in the churchyard and for your much appreciated donations.

The trees were sponsored by village individuals and organisations, many using recycled materials.

The trees really do look splendid (despite the weather’s best efforts to wreck them!) and will be enjoyed by the whole community for the duration of the Christmas festival as well as providing a lovely back drop for the Christmas Story Retelling in readings, lights and music at 4pm on Christmas Eve (details are on the The Coddenham Parish Community Website).

The trees have been independently judged this afternoon. Congratulations to the winners of the best decorated tree using recycled materials – Tony, Eleanor and Gina Margaritelli and to the runners up, Jill and Alan West.
