The Community Shop committee, Bliss and the volunteers are all thrilled to have been given a Lord Lieutenant of Suffolk Award in recognition of outstanding service to the community during the Covid-19 pandemic.
The accompanying letter highlights the fact that ‘local shops have been a vital link of communication, care and support to countless people over the past year’. This is an important recognition of all the hard work that has kept Coddenham Community Shop running and serving the community during the pandemic.
We are looking forward to inviting the Lord Lieutenant, Clare, Countess of Euston, to visit the shop for a celebratory cup of tea in the near future.
