The Coddenham History Club have added a unique Exhibition in Haysel House on the 5th June, during the BIG LUNCH from 12pm to 4.30pm.

Looking ahead, along with the rest of the Country we light the Jubilee Beacon at 9.45pm this Thursday 2nd June at St Mary’s Church,
Please join us for refreshments from 9.30pm, there will be short fanfare before the Beacon is lit, followed by a Peal of Bells. The Country Club will remain open afterwards and we are grateful to our sponsors the Day Foundation and Gardemau Trusts, plus volunteers, Bell Ringers and Ian Burton, for supporting the event.
On Saturday 4th June, our neighbours Hemingstone are holding their Annual Fete. Pay them a visit!

You are welcome to BYO picnic, but please support the event. Tickets are free for residential children, adults and guests, a donation is requested. Available from the Community Shop, until Wednesday 1st June or until stocks run out. There will be no additional tickets on the Day. Don’t forget to Enter the Jubilee Photograph Competition and Bring out Your Bunting!
Those who have booked their commemorative mug for residential children under 12, may collect from the Coddenham Community Shop from the 3rd June. This is a limited edition porcelain mug. A number of ceramic commemorative mugs will be available on sale from the 6th June.
The celebrations in Coddenham are a collaboration led by the Coddenham Community Response Group, which includes The Coddenham Centre, the Coddenham Community Shop, Coddenham Country Club, the Day Foundation, the Gardemau Trusts, the Coddenham History Club, St Mary’s Church & Coddenham Parish Council. We are grateful to all our sponsors, the Day Foundation, Mid-Suffolk District Council, the Gardemau Trusts and Bickers Action, plus our many volunteers and participants.
We suggest you bring picnic chairs or blankets if you can on the Sunday, as seating is limited. Don’t forget sunscreen or umbrellas as required!
