The funeral for Sylvia Harris was held at St Mary’s Church on the 24th February.

For those unable to attend or prevented by COVID restrictions, the family have asked the CCRG to make their recording of the service available on the Parish’s Community Website here.

‘The family would like to thank all those who have sent such lovely condolences to us on the loss of our mum and nanny. We are sad that so few were able to attend the service due to the current restrictions and hope you will feel some sense of the inclusion we would have wanted all to have by being able to watch the service here’.

Family Tributes were read by Sylvia’s middle grandson Sam Harris, the Bible Reading by Ray Collins, a selection of Poems written by Sylvia were read by Sylvia Bickers, the Prayers by Ian Galbraith. Hymns were recorded for the occasion by Robert Marjoram and the choir of St Mary and St Botolph Whitton, where daughter Mary is the Priest-inCharge.

The service was led by Helen Norris.

Sylvia’s family were very touched by the number of people who lined the street to bid her farewell as they left.
