Cooked in Coddenham

Over forty diners sat down to an excellent three course lunch on Friday 11th and enjoyed good food and good company with the help of volunteers, led by Centre Manager Gail Springett & Parish Councillor Nick Mills.

Our thanks to new volunteer chefs, Julie Bloomfield & Jackie Barber, plus Martin, Claire Butters, Diane Mills, Julie Cartwright, Jane & Andrew MacPherson, Ray & Francis Collins.

Diners enjoyed freshly prepared Butternut Squash Soup, Chicken Casserole, Blackberry & Apple Pie, tea/coffee, bread & butter, for just £7.50 and donations. We welcomed familiar plus a few new faces from the community. Feedback was 100% positive! See attached.

A raffle donated by the Chefs, was also a great success.

We are grateful to the Mid Suffolk District Council Food Security Fund and others for contributing to these events.

The next lunch is the 8th November and tickets can be bought in the Community Shop  or Haysel House (thanks both),  for what you are prepared to pay or a suggested minimum of £7.50. All, COOKED IN CODDENHAM. Please book early to avoid disappointment.

Full details of the entire Cooked in Coddenham Winter programme including our Free SOUP SOCIALS, can be found HERE
