The churchyard at St Mary’s has been taken over by wildflowers!
The present sunny weather has encouraged several species to flower – orchids, scabious and ox eye daisies are out in abundance.
Why not grab a cold drink or delicious Alder Tree ice cream from the Community Shop and go enjoy the natural spectacle in the churchyard. Sit and contemplate or see how many different species you can spot al providing nectar and homes for a huge range of insect species.
Thanks to Colin Hardy for his photograph.
