Various local organisations and residents are initiating fund and resource collections to aid the recent earthquake disasters in Turkey and Syria.
This Friday’s free ‘Soup @the Centre’ at The Coddenham Centre between 12.30 and 2pm will pass around the bucket for donations. There will also be a card machine available, if you don’t have cash!
UPDATE: £150 raised. Collection will be repeated.
Our postbox (to the left of the front door) will also be emptied daily, if you are just passing. All donations welcome, no matter how small
The Coddenham Community Shop will also have a collection tin available for the Disaster Fund. CONTINUING.
Gosbeck Village Hall will be open from 10am – midday this Saturday 11th February for anyone to drop off supplies for the earthquake disaster, please!
Items needed ;
Warm clothes for all ages
Toiletries
Ladies toiletries
Hats, gloves scarves etc.
Children’s nappies
These supplies will then be handed to a charity on Saturday afternoon.
Funds raised at The Coddenham Centre will be reported on www.coddenham-parish.uk and directed to the Disasters Emergency Committee.
